We are so excited to be back from our break week and have campers return today. Today launches our new program, discovery camps. These camps are focusing around morning times where campers select activities that match interests. Our "majors" this week include activities like fishing, movie making, photography, and more. Campers were able to put forward interests and be matched with an activity group that will teach them a new skill over the course of the week.
We are looking forward to those activity blocks over the next couple days, for tonight it was a pretty calm beginning of camp. We had our registration and then made nametags before moving into dinner. After dinner we moved into activities that included our pillow case improv game. Campers collected props from the camp and then assembled skits in response to prompts. We finished out the night with camp fire smores and songs.
